RRDPA recognizes that everything and everyone is connected in some way and is affected by change. RRDPA ensures that great care goes into ensuring that what we do is appropriate for the community and socially responsible.
RRDPA has over 8 years of experience building capacity on child and women’s rights, and forestry to support the Lao and ethnic minority villagers in protecting their rights, their land and improving their livelihoods. RRDPA has been able to demonstrate that the villagers gain a basic understanding of their rights, the environment, labor, land and forestry laws and the process to request assistance for justice.
Over the last 3 years, RRDPA has had the opportunity to partner with the UN International Labour Organization (ILO) as the implementation partner of its Community-Based Enterprise Development (C-BED) Program across Lao PDR with smallholder farmers, market vendors, homestay owners and handicraft vendors. RRDPA has implemented the C-BED tools in three provinces: Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Champasak and Vang Vieng District, facilitating business skill development and conducting Action Research.
Pre-packaged or individually designed courses and training programs when and where you want them... our experienced trainers use state of the art participatory learning and action methods appropriate to the subject and the target group. We focus our training methods at the provincial, district and village levels working with ethnic minorities and valuing local knowledge, applying the Indigenous Knowledge and Peoples (IKAP) methodology.

We continually strive to improve our services through regular monitoring and evaluation of all trainings, annual training evaluations and regular updates of all training materials to ensure relevance to the current development context.
